Head’s Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
As we approach the end of another bustling term, I'm delighted to share some of the wonderful experiences our pupils have enjoyed recently. It's been a joy to see our school community thriving and engaging in such diverse learning opportunities.
Our Year 1 pupils were treated to a woolly visitor this week as part of their science learning. A lamb came to visit, providing a hands-on experience that brought their studies to life. The excitement and curiosity on their faces were truly heartwarming, reminding us of the power of experiential learning.
Meanwhile, our Year 4 and Year 5 pupils embarked on an adventure they won't soon forget. Their first residential trip to Boundless Outdoors was a resounding success, with perfect weather complementing their outdoor activities. When they returned on Thursday, they were understandably tired but brimming with enthusiasm about their amazing experiences. These trips are invaluable for building independence, resilience, and lasting memories.
On a different note, our ever-popular Easter Bingo event has once again proven to be a hit. It's always wonderful to see our school community come together for these enjoyable occasions, fostering a sense of togetherness and fun. Thank you FoFs for organising this event.
Looking ahead, I'm excited to invite you all to our Easter Celebration, which will be held at our Forest Schools on Friday, 11th April. This event promises to be a special occasion, blending our school's commitment to outdoor learning with the spirit of the Easter season. Reception and Key Stage 1 pupils will be leaving school at 10:15 am, followed by Key Stage 2 at 10:45 am. We will then gather for a short service and blessing at 11 am.
A highlight of this celebration will be the opportunity to view our forest creations of Holy Week, thoughtfully designed and crafted by our Year 1 pupils. These creations offer a unique perspective on this important time in the Christian calendar and showcase the creativity and understanding of our young learners.
As we prepare for this celebration, I'm reminded of how fortunate we are to have such a supportive and engaged school community. Your continued involvement in these events and your support of our pupils' learning journey is truly appreciated.
I look forward to seeing many of you at our Forest Schools Easter Celebration, where we can come together to mark this special time of year in our beautiful outdoor setting. It's sure to be a memorable event for pupils and parents alike.
Wishing you all a wonderful lead-up to the Easter break.

Spring Has sprung in year One
What a wonderful week we’ve had in Year One! This week we have been spring detectives. We explored our school grounds and spotted lots of signs that spring is here. We found daffodils, bird nests, bluebells and seedlings. We have also been been learning about different animals that are often born in the spring season. We were very lucky to have a special visit from Oscar’s mum who brought two lambs for us to hold and stroke! We asked her lots of questions about lambs and she and Oscar answered them for us. We are now experts about lambs! Huge thanks to Oscar’s mummy who very kindly visited us. Well done Year One!
Boundless Outdoors
Years 4 and 5 headed off to Malvern for their much anticipated residential this week. We were so, so impressed by their resilience, determination and endless positivity throughout the trip. Hopefully, all of the parents are hearing all the details at home, and the children can catch up on some much needed rest over the weekend.
Mrs Eaves, Mrs Grier and Miss Reid (and the amazing support staff!).

With very best wishes for a lovely weekend,
