Our Harvest Celebrations took a different turn this year, with each class celebrating in their own special way.

Classrooms were well stocked with donations!

Thank you for all of your harvest donations - the display of produce in each classroom was truly impressive, and provided a wonderful backdrop to the variety of harvest celebrations. I hope you have been able to get a glimpse of the performances (poems and songs) via the class Twitter pages.

The donations will be very gratefully received and certainly make a huge difference to those in our local community experiencing hardship and crisis.

Honiley Class have been busy!

music enrichment

Honiley Class started their Music enrichment lessons last week and we discovered that we will be learning how to play the ukulele! During our first lesson we met our new music teacher and started to think about musical notation, along with beats.

Archery and Athletics

Honiley Class also had the amazing opportunity to take part in archery and athletics. We all concentrated very hard to hit the target and hold the bow and arrow carefully, which was very tricky! We then took part in some races in teams and then even had a go at throwing a discus.

update from school

You will have received an email from the school office this week which contained important updates. There are some changes to start and finish times of the school day which were included in the letter - I have detailed them below for your quick reference. Please also note that siblings should now arrive and be collected in the youngest sibling’s time slot.

Lowsonford Class presented a fantastic ‘virtual’ assembly to their parents and other classes yesterday morning, sharing some of their learning from the term so far. However, the highlight of the day was the very civilised tea and cake ‘experience’ which took place in the hall during the afternoon. I have to say, there certainly wasn’t much cake left once they were finished!
